Anderson Knight Architects worked with the Abilene High School to assist in programming, design, and monitor through construction the renovation which added a wood and welding shop with project finishing rooms, shop material storage, (3) classrooms and offices, commons area, design for higher capacity restrooms, warming teaching and learning kitchen, greenhouse, new sprinkler system, update to IT infrastructure, interior finish updates, and exterior updates to the original high school shop at that location. AKA was able to accomplish all of these goals and still bring the project in under budget and on schedule.
