Story:
The northern portion of Riley County was in desperate need of additional facilities to serve that region’s population for rescue and response services. The community came together to push forward selecting a site and advocating for funds to place an EMS station in Leonardville, KS — a centralized location for the area. Anderson Knight underwent a space needs assessment and site evaluation to ensure design of the space was functional and accommodated the needs of the response teams.
