POSITION OVERVIEW
1. This position, through guidance and supervision, produces drawings of architectural designs
and plans for buildings according to direction provided by Project Managers.

ACCOUNTABLE TO
1. Project Manager

EXPERIENCE
1. Up to three years.

EDUCATION
1. Associate’s degree or Equivalent Technical Certification in Drafting or similar field.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for the preparation of drawings using Revit and other relevant software as
assigned by Project Managers.
2. Revises and updates drawings reflecting design changes.
3. Visits job sites and works with clients.
4. Serves as a member of an integrated design team to meet project schedules and budgets.
5. Applies prescribed techniques and procedures in accordance with AKA standards.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
1. Must be physically able to conduct field work as assigned.
2. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a satisfactory driving record.
3. Must have a reliable form of transportation to the office.
4. May require the ability to sit for long periods of time, stand, and walk.
5. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to
grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate technical equipment, read technical
information and to analyze complex data, as well as good hearing and speaking abilities to
exchange information on the phone or in person.
