Heather Peterson: AIA
Partner
From a young age, Heather has always held a fascination for design. She is captivated by the lines, shapes and structures that define the built environment. She sees it everywhere in her day-to-day life, which fuels her passion for design that makes an impact on the people who live, work and play within it. Heather has shared that passion at Anderson Knight Architects for most of her career, beginning in 2008.
As an architect and project manager, Heather handles projects of all scales and sizes, from commercial to residential. She holds a long-standing belief that everyone deserves a thoughtfully designed, highly functional and aesthetically pleasing home. For any project type, Heather considers the difference it can make for a person, family or community.
Outside of the office, Heather supports several causes important to her with active involvement. She is currently the board president of the Pawnee Mental Health Foundation, on the board of directors for both the Manhattan Optimist Club and Manhattan Area Technical College, and a member of GMCF Young Trustees. She’s also on the Workforce Housing steering committee and on the board of directors for the Flint Hills Area Builders Association.
