Story:

This American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) project provided the opportunity to vastly improve the way in which services are provided to the citizens of Manhattan and Riley County including Kansas State University, Green Valley and St. George, in Pottawatomie County as well as Ft. Riley and Junction City. Prior to construction of this facility, ATA parked their vehicles outside exposed to the elements and could only provide limited maintenance to their fleet of new buses. The new building has 5,127 s.f. of office area and 6,715 s.f. of indoor bus parking and maintenance. The office area includes a training room, dispatch, scheduling, drivers work room, administration offices, kitchen and restrooms.

Additional office space and parking was finished in the Fall of 2024.
