The Garfield

The Garfield is a historic elementary school in Abilene, Kansas originally constructed in 1940. This project renovated the elementary school into 19 individual apartment units. Since the building is on the historic register, each unit has unique characteristics which protect the original character while splashing a modern aesthetic throughout the spaces.
